Tuition fees

As an exchange student you are not required to pay Rovigo Conservatorium tuition fees. You should register and pay your fees at your home institution as normal.

Insurance/Visa

EU students: from 11th April 2007, UE citizens wanting to stay in Italy, must simply have a valid document of identification (identity card or passport) and must show a declaration of presence (http://www.poliziadistato.it/articolo/10930) at a Police office. After three months of arrival in Italy, it is necessary, however, to register your place of residence at the Town Hall, presenting an attendance certificate issued by the Conservatory.

Accommodation

The Rovigo Conservatorium does not offer accommodation for its students. Foreign students can usually find accommodation in private houses they share with other students, in single or double rooms. Prices may go from € 250 to € 300 per month for a single room.

Health Insurance

EU students can have medical assistance if :

– they have a European Health Insurance Card (in Italian language T.E.A.M.= Tessera Europea Assicurazione Malattia) issued by the country of origin that allows the student to receive all necessary medical treatments. If necessary, they can go directly to a General Pratictioner (G.P. /doctor) who is operating with the National Health Service (SSN) than supplies the treatment, whether general or specialist or go directly to any hospitals located in the area.

– they have the E106 Form with which you have the right to receive a complete sanitary service. The E106 Form is issued by the health authorities of the country of origin. The E 106 form can be requested by anyone who is insured in their own country.

For more than three months staying, it is possible to enroll at SSN presenting the E106 form.

Non-EU students can obtain sanitary assistance through :

Applying to the National Health Service (SSN) that supplies complete sanitary assistance under payment of an annual tax (deadline 31 December). You must refer to the ULSS 18 of Rovigo for the concerning procedures;

– Health insurance covering to be acquired from an insurance company.

How to get to Rovigo Conservatoire

By air and by train from Bologna: Bologna’s ”G.Marconi” airport has national and international flights by different air-line companies, including low-costs. It is located about 6 Km from the city with which it is connected by an Aerobus service, departing from the airport and arriving at the railway station every 15′ www.bologna-airport.it (also in English). In order to arrive at the Conservatoire in Rovigo from Bologna railway station, consult the site of Trenitalia – Ferrovie dello stato (state railway), www.trenitalia.it (also inEnglish) For routes and trains timetables.

By air and by train from Venice: Venice’s “Marco Polo” airport has national and international flights by different air-line companies, including low-costs. The Airport is connected to the train station by a taxi service and city buses or regional buses. In order to arrive at the Conservatoire in Rovigo from the railway station of Venice Mestre, consult the site of Trenitalia – Ferrovie dello stato (state railway), www.trenitalia.it (also inEnglish) for routes and timetables of trains.
By car: Rovigo can also be easily reached by car, the A13 motorway passes through it.
The A13 motorway connects Rovigo with Venice and Bologna.
From the motorway exit it is possible to get on to the ring road that allows you to reach many areas of the city.
